Dear Mom and Dad,
I want you to know what a big difference you have truly made in my life. You taught me so many things about the world and myself that years have not been able to make me forget. 


I may have misunderstood you and your intentions when I was much younger. But now I know that everything you did was for my own good. 


I would like you to know that I appreciate everything you’ve done for me. For cradling me, smiling at me, being proud of me, laughing with me, and loving me.
